Gauhar Mahal, Bhopal
Old Bhopal has some beautiful buildings
erected during the long reign of the
Nawabs and their powerful Begums. Gauhar
Mahal was gracefully eclectic, blending
hindu and mughal styles. In 1820 this
was built by begum Kudesia who was also
known as Gauhar.
